We are working with a long-established first opinion small animal veterinary practice in the Barnsley area of South Yorkshire that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis. Due to growth they are looking for vet to join them for at least 3 days per week and would suit a more experienced vet (3-4years+) that is confident to build relationships with the clients and proactively manage the patients. 

The Practice:

Our client is a long-established first opinion Small Animal Veterinary Practice with a fantastic mix of bonded clients. They are able to boast excellent facilities; an emphasis on teamwork with an excellent support network for new staff members and high standards of both patient and client care. They are a large multi-site first opinion practice and their ethos is based on clinical excellence, strong collaborative client relationships, compassionate patient care, teamwork, and personal development. The central hospital is in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire and they have 11 satellite clinics.  

The Role and Candidate:

Due to growth, our client is in need of an additional vet for at least 3 days per week or full-time. There is a busy consulting and first opinion operating caseload and the clinic is well equipped with theatre and nice GA monitoring kit, imaging, lab, dental with XR and 2 consulting rooms. This role would suit a more experienced vet (3-4years+) that is confident to build relationships with the clients and proactively manage the patients.
