Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Birmingham

We are working with a lovely small animal practice that is just west of Birmingham in the West Midlands that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full or part-time permanent basis. They are looking for a vet to oversee a team of 1 vet and 1 RVN and 1 SVN.

The Practice:

Our client is a friendly small animal practice that has a team of experienced and hard-working vets and nurses.

They are an RCVS training practice, with in house laboratory, digital x rays, ultrasound, and a forced-air blanket.

They pride themselves on listening to their clients to understand the nature of their concerns and operate on 15-minute appointments ensuring clinical care is paramount.   

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon for a full-time/ part-time role that will include alternate Saturday mornings 08:00-12:00 and weekday shifts of 08:30-19:00 with 1-hour lunch. They are looking for a vet to oversee a team of 1 vet and 1 RVN and 1 SVN. They may consider a person looking to work a dual role at two different practices in the Birmingham area. Accommodation can be provided if required.

You will be a confident vet with a minimum of 4 years of qualified MRCVS experience. The ideal candidate will be client focussed, sociable, and well organised, with the drive to deliver the high standard of clinical care that clients and their pets deserve. An experienced vet with an interest in surgery/orthopaedics would be an advantage. They offer a varied caseload of medical/ surgical cases
