We are working with a client in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, that is looking to recruit a full-time small animal veterinary surgeon on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ post-graduate small animal practice experience and be confident in their recommendations.

The Practice:

Our client is a rapidly growing small animal veterinary practice based in the Rotherham area. They are committed to not only investing in state of the art equipment to give patients access to the best possible facilities, but they are also dedicated to being able to offer the best possible care for all pets through their experienced vets and nurses. You will be working within a well-equipped practice that benefits from digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, tonometer, bronchoscope and endoscope, blood pressure machine, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser, bone kit as well as a full ex-lap kit including suction and diathermy. You will be joining a busy team of 8 vets, a large nursing team, and an experienced support team.

The Role and Candidate

This is a full-time role working 40.5 hours per week over 4 days with weekends on a rota of 1 in 4 full weekends.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ post-graduate small animal practice experience and be confident in their recommendations.

You will be working with a multi vet team that consists of 8 experienced vets with a busy and varied caseload.

All out-of-hour care is managed by a local group hospital, where you will also have access to CT and MRI.

They take pride in their collaborative approach; you will have the opportunity to call upon experienced vets for advice. You will work closely with other experienced vets.

The Remuneration Package:

In return, our client is offering a salary package of up to £55,000 per annum, subject to experience, plus benefits including:-
