We are currently working with an independent practice in Chorley, Lancashire that is looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis.

The Practice:

The purpose-built well-equipped hospital has all the usual facilities (digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, ECG, tonometry, and in house lab + technician) in an ideal location with proximity to both Manchester and Liverpool cities, but also the Lake District and North Wales for any outdoor activity/walking enthusiasts.

As well as the animal hospital they have two branch practices, allowing them to provide the same high standards at more convenient locations for their clients and animals.

The Candidate:

This candidate must have at least one year of experience, be motivated and enthusiastic to join a fun and dynamic team of 9 vets (including a number of advanced certificate holders), based in the heart of beautiful Lancashire, and also have an emphasis on clinical excellence.

The Role:

This role is full-time working 4 days, 3x 9.00-18.00, 1x 9.00-22.00. The weekend rota is 1:5 Saturday and Sunday 8.00-17.00 and 1:5 Saturday and Sunday 16.00-22.00.

The Package:

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary (D.O.E) 33 days of holidays per year, professional fees (RCVS/VDS), and publication of your choice paid for.
