Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - High Wycombe
We are working with a small animal veterinary practice based in the High Wycombe area of Buckinghamshire that is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. They are looking for a vet that is confident with consultants and routine surgeries.
The Practice:
They are a long-established, four vet, small animal practice in South Bucks. They are located in an affluent town where clients expect thorough treatment and investigations. they have access to several good referral centres although a lot of complex cases are managed at the clinic, including orthopaedics. Their up-to-date facilities include ECG, dedicated operating theatre, 3 consulting rooms, large prep/dental area, good quality ultrasound, separate dog/cat wards, digital x-rays, extensive in-house Idexx lab, and tonometer.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their team! They work a 40 hour week including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings between 8 am & 12 noon. Their working pattern allows a good mix of consulting & surgical time. No OOHs except for managing occasional hospital patients.
They are looking for an MRCVS registered veterinary surgeon, preferably with at least 2 years’ experience in general first opinion practice. The successful applicant should be confident with consultations & routine surgeries. A registered clinical coach for our clients' trainee vet nurses would be an asset.
