We are working with a busy practice based in Burgess Hill, who are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive team on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
This is a happy, busy practice, that offers their clients a very high standard of care whilst maintaining a compassionate approach. They have a team of 6 vets, 7 RVNs, 2 SVNs, along with a fantastic support team. Several team members are working towards certificates and diplomas, and as such, the practice is happy to support any area of interest which will increase the service offered to patients and clients.
The practice is modern and purpose-built, with equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasonography, in-house laboratory facilities, separate dog, cat and isolation wards. They are also undergoing an extension this year.
The Role:
The position can be either full or part-time, along with participating in the weekend rota. There is no out of hours or sole charge work required.
The full-time role would be 4 days per week (40hrs) with ideally 1 full weekend (or 2 Sundays) a month (Sat 9-6, Sun 10-4) although everything is up for negotiation for the right candidate. The part-time role would be a three-quarter time (30hrs) would also be possible. There is some flexibility with the hours/shifts for the right candidate so please do get in contact with us for a chat if you are interested!

The ideal candidate will have good surgical and medical skills and enjoy being part of a team. The ability to work well under pressure and manage a busy caseload is also very important.
