We are working with a two-site mixed animal veterinary practice based near Driffield in North Yorkshire that is looking for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. Our client provides veterinary services for small animals, equine, livestock, and more in a friendly dedicated environment.

The Practice:

Our client is a friendly independent practice dedicated to providing an excellent standard of care to all of their clients. The practice has evolved from the first two Veterinary Practices established in Driffield, both with roots going back to the 1940s. They currently have 13 full-time vets, 5 part-time vets, 11 RVNS, 9 VCAs all supported by a client care team and admin team. They have vets with GPcert DI and SAP, other vets working towards a surgery certificate, and masters in chronic pain management, diagnostic imaging and ophthalmology.

The Role:

Our client is ideally looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeons to join their team, However, they are open to flexible working hours and part-time working applications will be considered. Full-time colleagues work a four-day week with a fixed day off, Saturday/Sunday weekend shifts on rotation with time back after, and the option of some night work if you are interested. They have a dedicated night team for the small hospital.

They are looking for 100% small animal vets and are keen to support certificate holders and /or support staff in completing certificates.

The Package

In return, our client is offering an excellent package that includes:

  • Competitive Salary (DOE) of between £32,000-£55,000 p/a
