We are currently working on behalf of an independent, family run practice in Slough, Berkshire who are looking for an additional Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis
The Practice:
Our client has been committed to providing a high level of Veterinary care and customer service to the pets and their owners in Slough and the surrounding areas. They are an independent, family run business and are pet owners themselves, so understand that your pet is an important member of the family. This is why, when their client come to them for either a routine health check or for emergency treatment, all pets will receive a high level of veterinary care within a welcoming, caring and friendly atmosphere. The husband and wife team offer first opinion care as well as some more complex orthopaedics such as TTO, TTA, TPLO etc.
The Role:
This role is for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, however, the rota will including 1 in 2 Saturday mornings 8:30 am-1.00 pm with time back in lieu. Weekday hours are between 8:30 am-7.00 pm and there are no out of hours requirements with this position.
The Candidate:
Applicants will ideally have 2+ years’ experience and be confident with routine consults and surgeries, however, there is a highly experienced team always available to help progress any areas of interest, especially orthopaedics.
In return, our client is offering a salary of £31,000 plus based on experience + 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + £1000 CPD and 5 days to use it, memberships and pension etc.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
