Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced First-Opinion Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established veterinary team in Basildon, Essex.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality clinical care to patients.
  • Engaging in surgical and ECC caseloads.
  • Working collaboratively with a skilled nursing and support team.
  • Supporting and mentoring colleagues in a progressive clinical setting.

Hours: This permanent position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, offering flexibility and a supportive work environment. Full-time would include a 40-hour workweek with a 1:3 Saturday rota - No out-of-hours (OOH) work required.

Skills/Exp: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in first-opinion practice, including surgery and emergency & critical care (ECC) caseloads.
