Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Bathgate

Our client looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to further expand their team of dedicated vets and help increase the services they offer to clients.

Role: Permanent Veterinary Surgeon

Type: Small Animal

Location: Bathgate

Practice: Small Animal

Team: Experienced team of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and 2 Animal Care Assistants. They are a training practice where the Registered Veterinary nurses are fully utilized with Animal Care Assistant support.

Facilities: A well-equipped practice with Digital X-rays, the latest laboratory equipment, and Sevoflurane & Humphrey ADE anaesthesia.

Hours:

  • Working 42 hours per week, over 5 days
  • 1:4 out of hours weekends
  • 1 out of hour shift during the week

Sole Charge: No

Branch Work: No

Applicant Requirements: Must be a qualified Vet Surgeon and on the RCVS register. Previous experience working in a similar role is desirable, confident in providing emergency care and experience in a similar environment, further certification is encouraged and supported.

Salary: 

  • New graduates from £32,000 p/a negotiable (DOE)
  • Experienced vets from £48,000 p/a negotiable (DOE)
