Permanent Veterinary Surgeon, Birmingham

We are working with a well-established small animal practice in the Birmingham area of the West Midlands that is looking for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time basis.

The Practice:

Our clients' practice in Solihull offers a wide variety of veterinary services for all the domestic pet’s needs in Solihull and the surrounding areas. Boasting a large range of consulting times across their three sites; are able to offer appointments that suit the clients' needs and requirement. They have their own out-of-hours emergency service also means they are here to care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Their main surgery provides a centre for hospitalisation with 24-hour care. The facilities and procedures include an in-house laboratory for rapid, regular diagnostics 365 days a year, more involved surgery and imaging for more intricate cases.

You will be joining a friendly team that consists of strong Nurses (a Head Nurse, Veterinary Nurse, and Student Nurse) as well as a great Patient Care Assistant for support. The Lead Veterinary Surgeon has over 15 years of experience, so your role will be vital in maintaining the high standards that this practice boasts.

The Role and Candidate:

This is a permanent full-time role, with the full working pattern being discussed in the interview.

They are proud to provide 24-hour in-house care via their own dedicated emergency night team. (Meaning no night OOH for the day team) All of their vets are supported by an experienced and caring nurse team.
