Job Title: Permanent Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Practice Type: This is a three-site group with one main hospital facility. The hospital is a gold-friendly cat practice and a branch has been awarded a silver. They are a nurse training practice and part of the practice standards scheme with outstanding RCVS awards. All three sites are well-equipped with operating and lab facilities, including individual species wards (with additional exotics facilities at the Hospital and Bingley branch). Our new premises opened in December 2020 and boasts custom-built facilities including a new dental suite with CR x-ray.

Hours: Full-time, Four 10-hour days per week (full-time) but part-time may be considered for the right candidate.

Weekend: Rota’d Weekend (typically 1 or 2 vets on duty per Saturday)

OOHs/On-Call: None

Sole Charge: Some

Branch Work: Some

Skills/Exp: They are looking for someone well-grounded in surgery and medicine who is comfortable working as part of a strong team, as well as confident enough to be a sole charge for weekend clinics or occasional branch surgery work. They expect a good team ethic and strong communication skills.
