Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Bromley

Location: Bromley, Kent

Services/Facilities: They have a good surgical caseload thanks to their surgery certificate holder, and the practice is generally well equipped with the usual toys (with plans in the pipeline for a new state-of-the-art dental suite, separate laboratory, and cat ward). They are constantly striving to improve themselves and facilities, they have just enrolled on the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme.  

Team:

  • They are an extremely close-knit team that has made it through Covid with their sense of humour intact!
  • They enjoy case discussion, and regularly brainstorm/share knowledge with each other 
  • As well as the vets they also have their invaluable support team consisting of 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, 4 VCAs, and 4 receptionists. All team members are valued equally and staff input is listened to and acted upon promptly

Role: They are looking for one full or two part-time vets to expand the team in their determinedly independent small animal and exotic practice in Bromley on the London/ Kent border.  

Candidate: They are looking to recruit vets who will not only share their knowledge and support staff and clients but also have the drive to help them achieve their plans to expand services. They would willingly support the right candidate(s) through certificate-level study. Attitude and enthusiasm to learn are valued above experience and a new or recent graduate could be supported. 

Hours: They are supportive of part-time and/or flexible working and will work hard to find a rota that fits everyone's needs. 

OOHS/weekends: There are no OOH duties and only 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.

The Package:

  • The full-time salary would be between £35,000-£65,000 p/a (DOE)
  • With 6 weeks holiday.
  • VDS, RCVS, and BVA/ BSAVA are all paid.
  • There is the option of accommodation on-site if needed either short or long term.
