The Practice:
- This position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a newly established practice within a well-known retail setting.
- The clinic is equipped with advanced facilities and is supported by a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional veterinary care.
- Located in Clacton-on-Sea, a charming coastal town in Essex, the practice benefits from a vibrant community, scenic coastal walks, and excellent transport links. The town provides easy access to major roads, including the A133, A120, and M25, facilitating convenient commuting options.
- The practice operates six days a week, from Monday to Saturday (Monday – Friday: 9 am – 7 pm & Saturday: 9 am – 6 pm (on a rota basis))
The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art practice set to open in March 2025. This modern clinic is designed to uphold the highest clinical standards while providing a welcoming and supportive work environment for its team.
Hours:
The Ideal Candidate:
- This opportunity is open to both experienced Veterinary Surgeons and newly qualified professionals registered with the RCVS.
- The ideal candidate should have confidence in routine procedures, with additional skills in ultrasound and medicine considered advantageous.
- The role requires strong communication skills, a passion for animal welfare, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Hours: Full-time role (circa 40 hours per week), with part-time options available upon discussion
Weekends: 1:3 Saturday rota
OOHS: No out-of-hours requirements
Salary: They are offering a competitive salary of up to £55,000 p/a (dependent on experience and full-time equivalent)
