Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Clinical Lead - Coventry

We are working with a friendly small animal practice in Coventry that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them in a Clinical Lead Role. This is a full-time role that will involve mentoring and supporting other vets in the practice.

The Practice:

You will be working in a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery, that is built to industry-leading standards and have use of state-of-the-art equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house blood machines.

Situated just minutes from motorways, the practice is within easy reach of both Birmingham and Leicester and is based within a busy and popular residential area, there is ample opportunity to see a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases, with approximately 80% of clients being insured.

The Role and Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, ambitious, and work well within a team, joining our clients' friendly team of 4 vets, 4 nurses, 3 receptionists, and 1 Practice Manager. You must be confident with routine surgical and medical cases with a certificate in soft tissue surgery or orthopaedics being an advantage but not essential. Previous experience in a leadership role would also be an advantage.

The role is for a Clinical Lead with duties being split with consults and surgery, but also mentoring and supporting other vets in the practice.

You will be working full-time with hours of 40 hours a week, 1:4 weekends, and no OOH’s.
