We are working with a thriving, multi-centre small animal practice that is based in the Corby area of Leicestershire that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis. The role can be either full or part-time as the practice is flexible for the right candidate.

The Practice:

Animal welfare is at the heart of what our client does and they strive to give the best advice to ensure a long, healthy, and happy life for pets. They specialise in the treatment of all domestic pets including; dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters. All of their vets and nurses are highly skilled and are equipped with advanced technology to ensure rapid diagnosis and treatment for patients. Their main surgery has been extensively refurbished providing them with all the diagnostic equipment required to investigate all first and some second opinion cases.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them in a permanent position, although they are looking for a part-time vet to work 2 days a week they would consider offering a 4 days a week for the right candidate. They are open Monday-Friday 08:00-19:00 and Saturday 08:45-15:30, the shifts worked can vary from 08:00-19:00 to 09:00-18:00 (depending on the shift). The weekend rota is only 1 in 4 supporting a good work/life balance. They don't do out of hours but they have inpatients who remain on site.

You will be a confident vet that has excellent clinical and customer skills, a friendly manner, and great at working as part of the team.
