Permanent Veterinary Surgeon Clinical Director - Durham

They are looking for a Clinical Director to join their team. If you are looking for that next step in your career and the opportunity to develop others whilst also developing yourself then this could be the ideal role for you.

Type: Small Animal

Location: Crossgate Moor, Durham

Practice Type: Part of a group - they have two sites in the Durham area

Facilities: Both sites are fully equipped and independent, but they all work at both branches. Facilities include digital radiography, dental x-ray, ultrasonography, endoscope, multiparameter, laser, and more.

Team Info: They have ten Veterinary Surgeons, nine Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Student Veterinary Nurse, two Auxiliary Nurses, and an excellent Reception Team. They also have a supportive admin team who takes care of financial matters including insurance. Their practice puts quality above quantity, this is to make sure patients get excellent care and to make sure staff have a nice working environment.

Role: As a senior member of the team, you will be required to carry out veterinary duties while supporting the team, but also contribute to the management team by working alongside the Practice Manager.

Hours: Their current vet rota consists of a 40-hour week over 4 days between the hours of 8 am and 7 pm Monday to Friday

Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturdays.

OOHS: There are no OOH or on-call with this role.

Applicant Requirements

  • They're looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in management, to take a lead role within the practice.
  • To be successful in this role you will be a team player, who has a great work ethic and shares theirr passion for delivering patient and client care of the highest standard.

Salary: up to £73,000 p/a (DOE)
