Permanent Veterinary Surgeon, Exeter

Due to an ever-expanding client base, our client is looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join them. You will be an experienced vet, dedicated to outstanding client and customer care. They are a committed, progressive, and dedicated team, always investing in staff and facilities in order to stay at the forefront of both first opinion and second opinion veterinary medicine and surgery.

The Practice:

This is a modern, fully equipped RCVS accredited practice setting the standards for first opinion work in the area. They are looking for an experienced candidate to join their highly skilled, passionate, and committed team. Their priorities lie in client and patient care whilst ensuring that staff are happy and well cared for with a healthy work-life balance. They are well-equipped, with 4 branch small animal practices offering routine services alongside many diagnostic & specialist services. Their hospital surgery is currently undergoing expansion to provide CT scanning & improved Exotic facilities

The Role and Candidate:

  • Full-time positions, however, part-time applications are considered
  • 4 or 4.5 days per week
  • 1 in 10 full weekends
  • 1 in 10 Saturdays
  • Approximately one night every two weeks.

Due to their ever-expanding client base, they are looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join them. You will be an experienced vet, dedicated to outstanding client and customer care. They are a committed, progressive, and dedicated team, always investing in staff and facilities in order to stay at the forefront of both first opinion and second opinion veterinary medicine and surgery. They are looking for an experienced candidate to join their highly-skilled, passionate, and committed team. They would ideally like to recruit someone with a medical bias but more importantly, they are looking for a candidate that is going to thrive with them. 

You will also be confident, friendly, proactive, and comfortable with occasional sole charge and participation in the equally shared out of hours and weekend duties. There is internal support from multiple certificate and diploma holding colleagues and outstanding facilities at their hospital premises, where case continuity is possible and three well-equipped branches that have their own teams who are encouraged to develop a good working relationship with their own clients. Study towards further qualifications encouraged and funded.
