Permanent Veterinary Surgeon Full or Part-time - Dorchester

We are working with a client based in Dorchester, Dorset, who is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full or part-time permanent basis.

The Practice:

This is a great opportunity to enjoy a wonderful location as Dorset boasts one of the UK's sunniest and warmest climates. Dorchester is the gateway to the Jurassic Coast which offers Blue Flag beaches, dramatic scenery, rich heritage, and a historic harbour. All this is still under three hours from London, with good road networks and direct rail links.  Their modern RCVS Nurse Training accredited practice is fully equipped with all the latest equipment including digital x-ray and dentistry kit, portable ultrasound, VetAir dental machine, capnograph & pulse oximetry, Doppler BP, high spec microscope, Idexx in-house laboratory.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic professional to join their friendly, established team on either a full or part-time basis. Weekends will be on a rota and fairly shared across the team.  Applicants need to have excellent people skills, a determination to offer a high level of patient care, and have sound surgical and medical skills. There will be no OOH requirements but some sole charge responsibility.

The Package:

Offering an excellent salary of up to £65,000 P/A (DOE) with a relocation package. 28 days holiday per year increasing with service. They also offer Pension, Income Protection, Life Assurance, and Wellbeing Package. There is a generous CPD allowance that is fully supported and encouraged, RCVS and VDS membership fees are paid.
