We are working with a small animal veterinary practice in the Leicester area that is looking for a professional Veterinary Surgeon to join the vibrant team on a full-time permanent basis. With an estimated start date between April and May 2021.

The Practice:

Our client is committed to providing affordable, high-quality care via a modern, bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is built to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.

The Role and Candidate:

This is a permanent full-time role, where you will be working 4 days per week with a mix of 9-7 or 8-6 shifts. These shifts include operating shifts, prep vet role, and consulting shifts. The weekends are currently 1:3 - without working a Sunday at present due to COVID but this may change. No OOH.

Ideally, the candidate would be a least 4/5 years of experience and be happy with being a leader of the team when the practice isn't in the branch. You must be confident with exotics as they are the vets for a nearby pet store, if not full guidance can be given but it would be ideal to have some day to day experience.

The Package:

In return for your hard work, our client is offering an excellent salary that could be circa £45,000 - £50,000 p/a dependent on experience and skills. The benefits package will be discussed in the interview.
