There is always support available from fellow team members many of whom are working towards certificates in medicine, surgery, exotics, and ECC. 

Team: You will be working alongside their dedicated and experienced teams and the practice strongly supports and encourages every team member to achieve their full potential. 

Role: Busy first opinion veterinary hospital, based in Leigh near Manchester requires an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to expand their day team.

Hours: They have a standard 4-day working week, with a 1 in 5 weekend rota for which you will receive an additional day off the week after working a weekend allowing for a long weekend. They do have veterinary surgeons working alternative rotas and are happy to discuss an alternative working pattern if this would fit in better with your work-life balance.  

OOHS: There is no out-of-hours night work included in this role as this is covered by their dedicated night team. This allows them to provide 24-hour care at their own site, with their own team and allows excellent opportunities for great patient care and advanced medicine and surgery within first opinion practice. 

Salary: Competitive salary between £35,000-£50,000 P/A (DOE) - based on a 40 hour week

Skills/Other information: Fully qualified veterinary surgeon registered with the RCVS.
