Permanent Veterinary Surgeon, Leigh Lancashire

Practice: As an independent practice, they can present action ideas that they believe will benefit their clients and team members. They actively promote individuals to reach their full potential and follow their own interests. There is always support available from fellow team members many of whom are working towards certificates in medicine, surgery, exotics, and ECC. 

Team: You will be working alongside their dedicated and experienced teams and the practice strongly supports and encourages every team member to achieve their full potential. 

Role: Busy first opinion veterinary hospital, based in Leigh near Manchester requires an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to expand their day team.

Hours: They have a standard 4-day working week, with a 1 in 5 weekend rota for which you will receive an additional day off the week after working a weekend allowing for a long weekend. They do have veterinary surgeons working alternative rotas and are happy to discuss an alternative working pattern if this would fit in better with your work-life balance.  

OOHS: There is no out-of-hours night work included in this role as this is covered by their dedicated night team. This allows them to provide 24-hour care at their own site, with their own team and allows excellent opportunities for great patient care and advanced medicine and surgery within first opinion practice. 

Salary: Competitive salary between £35,000-£50,000 P/A (DOE) - based on a 40 hour week
