Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Manchester

We are currently working with a delightful growing and busy practice based in Manchester with great transport links to Bury, Oldham & Rochdale. They have a fantastic opportunity for an additional small animal veterinary surgeon to join their existing great team on a full-time permanent basis. Enthusiasm and passion for what you do are essential as well as providing an excellent and comprehensive service to all clients and patients.

The Practice:

This first opinion practice has established a developed and bonded client base within their local community and their team handles a varied caseload. The successful candidate will be working alongside a friendly, supportive, and experienced team of 1 vet, 1 nurse, , two student nurses, 1 VCA and three client care advisors, and a practice manager in a busy clinic. They can carry out oncology with staging, both routine and non-routine surgical procedures including orthopaedics and most soft tissue surgery; examples include BOAS, ear ablation, thyroidectomy, reconstructive surgery, anal gland removal, cystotomy, and urethrostomy. They also have a dedicated in-house lab, digital x-ray machine, and an ultrasound machine. Where they are located has great transport links to Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, and Manchester. Heaton Park and Middleton shopping centre are just a short drive away.
