Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Northampton

Team Info: 13 Veterinary Surgeons (majority of them are certificate holders), 18 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 Kennel Assistants, and a Lab Technician.
Facilities: clinical independence, utilising our well-equipped internal lab alongside in-house endoscopy and on-site CT (as well digital radiography, doppler ultrasonography, purpose-built dental suite, and mobile MRI service).
Hours: This is a full-time role, both 4x10 hours and 5x8 hours patterns are available
Weekends: Saturday shifts on a rota (with time in lieu)
OOHs: No
Skills/Exp: The ideal candidate will be confident consulting, performing routine surgical procedures, and providing dedicated inpatient care. A post-graduate certificate holder in ophthalmology (or studying for it) would be desirable.
Duties: Their 1st opinion team enjoys working closely alongside referral clinicians, who are advanced practitioners in many disciplines. You will have clinical independence, with the availability of the well-equipped internal lab alongside in-house endoscopy and on-site CT, as well digital radiography, Doppler ultrasonography, advanced dental suite with oral radiology, and mobile MRI service visiting currently twice a month. Their referral teams are ready to help; you will rarely have to refer a case externally, and you will be able to follow the diagnostic or treatment occurring within the same building.

Salary: Up to £50,000 p/a (DOE)
