Practice Type: Group practice - They are a large small animal first opinion practice based in Norwich and see a variety of cases including orthopaedics and ophthalmology referrals.
Services/Facilities:They have an ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, tonometry, slit lamp, gonioscope, tonometry, orthopaedic kit, multi-parameter units for theatre, and a full in-house lab.
Team: They have a supportive, experienced team with certificate holders in surgery and ophthalmology and two vets studying for certificates
Role: They are looking for an experienced vet to help with their increasing caseload and to replace one of their lovely vets.
Hours: They feel they have a good work-life balance with a full-time role consisting of a four-day working week and 1 in 5 weekends and the same day off each week. They have a flexible rota and the role could be full or part-time.
Duties:They allow 15 minutes for boosters and mostly 30 mins for sick pets with plenty of time built in the day for admin tasks etc. This could also be a consult-only position and there is no sole charge.
Support: They are a busy practice with a large varied caseload with the ability to work up cases in-house and clinical freedom. They are always looking to improve their standards with regular clinical meetings, journal clubs, and CPD. They are striving to improve the work-life balance and the mental health of their team. They have appointed a mental health first aider and have implemented the BVA good workplace guide.
Salary:The salary range£34,000-£60,000p/a depending on experience

Flexible CPD allowance with Min. £1000 of CPD per annum and support towards a Certificate
