Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Shrewsbury

Type: Small Animal

Location: Circa 40 minute commute of Shrewsbury

Practice Type: Independent Practice - Well-established single-site practice (no branches) in a semi-rural location with a very varied caseload.

Facilities: Well-equipped lab, usual diagnostic equipment, hydrotherapy treadmill, and complementary therapies. 

Team: They currently are a 2 Vet / 3 RVN practice with a fun, family feel. Fantastic team of support staff and RVNs who all look out for each other. 

Hours: 35 hr weeks with (potential for a 4 days week), no OOH.

Shifts: 08:30-18:30

Weekends: One Saturday morning in three

Consults: 15-minute consultations - 9-11 and 3.30-6.30

Sole Charge: Occasionally

Skills/Exp: To ensure their commitment to providing the best care for patients they want to expand the team to stay ahead of the demand, whilst maintaining the small independent team feel clients and staff members know and love. You will have a minimum of 3 years of in-practice experience.

Salary: Competitive Salary - Between £35,000-£60,000 p/a Depending on experience
