Team: In their team, they currently have 4 RVNs and 2 Veterinary Surgeons, with a graduate starting in September. One of their Veterinary Surgeons has a clinical interest in exotics, and the other is upskilling in imaging, so there’s definitely no shortage of interesting cases coming through their doors! They pride themselves on the training and support they offer to students and they’re delighted to say previous students have joined them on a permanent basis once qualified. They're constantly working on new initiatives to support skill gaps and they make sure CPD is continuous and happening across all levels in their surgery.
Role: As a key member of a surgery team, this role is responsible for delivering excellence in customer service and clinical care whilst promoting pet wellbeing, delivering preventive services, and treating sick and injured pets.
Hours: They are looking for a Vet who is looking to work 11:30-9 4 days a week (Mon-Thursday) with 1 in 4 weekends

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in follow-ups, medicine, and case work ups to join the team at Barnsley!
The role is based in a fast-paced environment and the Vet must lead by example.
This role requires strong communication, organisational, time management skills, and a positive mental attitude toward daily tasks and responsibilities.
The post holder must demonstrate empathy, kindness, and compassion, whilst also being calm and
confident under pressure.
The Vet must demonstrate flexibility and the willingness to provide cover for absences and weekends if required, which may include working at other surgeries.
The role requires a commitment to proactively developing own skills whilst completing CPD in accordance with the group and the RCVS requirements.
The Vet must adhere to health & safety guidelines.
The Veterinary Surgeon must adhere at all times to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Code of Professional Conduct.
