Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Stoke-on-Trent

We are working with a friendly practice in Stoke-on-Trent that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their kind and caring team on a full-time permanent basis.

The Practice:

This practice has a very long-standing and friendly client base who appreciate the personal service that is provided by this friendly and caring team. The practice is ideally situated close to the city centre which has a vibrant side with lots of new restaurants and brassieres re-energising the cultural quarter. Their facilities are well-equipped with a digital x-ray, an in-house laboratory, and ultrasound. Our clients' mission is to deliver progressive, around-the-clock care which means employees have the very best equipment and treatment options available, including in-house MRI machines and state-of-the-art operating theatres. They also provide ongoing support to all teams, both in practice and through a dedicated training centre. This empowers you to get the very best from the advanced equipment while being on your journey to veterinary excellence.

The Role and Candidate:

This is a full-time permanent role where you will be working 4 days a week 09:00-19:00, with 1 in 4 Saturdays. The on-call rota and bank holiday rota are shared out equally. As a qualified MRCVS, you'll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You will be competent in clinical examination and surgery and be confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing the values of being trustworthy, caring, and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues and clients.
