Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Stokesley

Type: Small Animal

Location: Stokesley, Teesside

Practice Type: Part of a group

Facilities: They are a small practice in the market town of Stokesley with an excellent, friendly, and loyal client base. A family practice at heart, the staff remain for many years due to the excellent support provided. They are a well-equipped practice that focuses on case continuity, client communication, and client care. The practice is ideally located for outdoor enthusiasts, with the North Yorkshire Moors on our doorstep, or the beach only 10 miles away.

Team: A four Veterinary Surgeon practice with one of the Veterinary Surgeons holding a certificate in small animal surgery who is happy to coach and encourage further training. The Veterinary Surgeons are excellently looked after by the qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse and Student Veterinary Nurse. The support team is made up of a superb Practice Manager who over the years has shown great commitment and provided support to enable the success of the team, along with the help of the four-strong Veterinary Reception team.

They are a small team who are happy to meet up for a night out and have taken part in charity events together. The new member would be welcomed with open arms and encouraged to slot into this already great team.

Role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join the well-established and friendly team at the first opinion practice based in Stokesley. Case continuity is encouraged with an emphasis on client communication and care.

Hours: Typically a full-time Vet will work 40 hours per week over 4 days with two Saturday mornings per month and no out-of-hours. However they are flexible and open to discussing rota options that work for you - whether you are looking to fix or flex your work patterns, they can find the right solution for you.

Applicant Requirements: They are looking for an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon who is enthusiastic and a good team player with excellent communication skills.

Experience in routine surgical procedures and day-to-day consultations would be preferred but not essential. You will be joining a team that enjoys the varied and at times fast-paced caseload, but still, find time to support each other. Further study towards certificates is encouraged and fully funded.
