Facilities: A modern, spacious, purpose-built building with excellent facilities. The large building consists of two theatres, radiography suite, separate cattery and kennels and three consultation rooms. They have an inhouse laboratory, as well as dental x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopes enabling us to work up a variety of cases.
Team: The team consists of 6 Veterinary Surgeons over two branches, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses as well as 4 Nursing Assistants. The practice also has a dedicated Reception team to greet the clients. As a team they are always looking to improve, therefore a candidate that would like to do a certificate would be supported.
Role: Our clients are seeking a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join the expanding team. This role will give the candidate a mixture of the time consulting and operating.
Hours: The working shifts will consist of whole days (8:30am until 6:30pm) over a 3 or 4 day week. You will be required to participate in an out of hours rota, this will be a 1-night duty per week and 1 in 4 weekends on call. When on call for the weekend you will be required to cover Saturday morning surgery (8:30am-2:00pm).
Applicant Requirements: They are looking for a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with any level of experience, however the ideal candidate will be confident in small animal consulting and routine surgeries. The right candidate is more important than experience, we are looking for a friendly, outgoing and caring person to join our team and provide excellent client care to the growing client base.
Salary: Up to £50,000 FTE depending on experience.
