Facilities:Well equipped with all the usual equipment including, a large prep area, operating theatre, dedicated PTS room, lab, an x-ray room, and a dental room.
Team: The growing team is currently made up of 1 permanent vet, 1 registered veterinary nurse and 1 nurse in training who is soon to qualify, 1 animal assistant, and 3 excellent support staff. When needed they also have access to the experience of a nearby orthopaedic specialist, eye clinic, and a visiting detailed ultrasonographer for difficult cases. They may be a small team but they all get on well and enjoy practice “banter” and like to meet up outside of work regularly!
Role: This role would be perfect for both recent graduates and experienced vets, looking to work in a supportive and dedicated practice.
Hours: They are happy to accept both full/part-time applicants, with a focus on working the shifts around your needs! This will generally be a 4-day working week, a share of 1:3 Saturdays (9 am – 12 pm), and a day off in lieu. No out-of-hours requirement.
Applicant Requirements: You will be a passionate vet who puts animal care at the heart of everything you do. Experience is not an issue as the team will be on hand to support. You will have a sense of humour and enjoy cake (as it’s always on offer!) A driving license is desirable.
Salary: Up to £65,000 plus up to £5,000 relocation bonus plus benefits
