- The practice faced challenges and now under a new management team has taken the helm with a clear vision for the future. Their goal is to build a strong, dedicated team to transform the clinic into a thriving independent practice, with aspirations to become a 24-hour hospital.
The Role: Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to be part of an exciting new chapter, helping to shape and grow an independent practice from the ground up. Hours: This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 09:00-1830, with a paid one-hour lunch break.
Duties: Currently, they are operating as a one-vet practice, meaning that procedures impact their ability to consult, so they need someone who can effectively balance both.
The Ideal Candidate:
- They are looking for a vet with a few years of experience who is confident in sole charge and possesses excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues.
- The ideal candidate should be comfortable in consultations and case work-ups, with surgical experience in routine procedures such as spays, castrations, and urinary catheter placements.
- While small animal expertise is essential, experience with exotic species is a bonus, as they aim to develop an exotic client base over time
Weekends: While they are not yet open on weekends, they may introduce Saturday openings in the coming months.
