Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Watford

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an independent practice based in the Watford area of Hertfordshire, who are currently recruiting for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position and would suit a vet with circa 2 years post-graduate, less experience would be considered for a confident vet that is comfortable in a sole charge role.

The Practice: 

Our client has an experienced and friendly team, which aims to provide a high standard of care for all pets in their care. They an independent and longstanding veterinary practice that has been established for a number of years and offer a range of expertise to look after animals in sickness and health. 

They have 5.5 vets and a team of nurses that are there to give advice on preventative healthcare, diets, and behaviour, as well as treatment when pets are ill. 

Services include consultations, surgery, hospitalisation, in house lab, dental care, X-ray, ECGs, Ultrasound.

The Role and Candidate: 

This is a full-time position working 4 days per week, 3x 9.00-19.00 1x 9.00-17.00.

The weekend rota is 1:4 Saturday 9.00-16.00 with on-call over the weekend. There is also an on-call requirement of 1 night per week. 

The role is predominantly based at their main site, with occasional shifts requirements at their consult only site 3 miles away.

The practice is happy to consider all levels of experience, from new graduate to a Vet with years of experience.
