More About The Practice:
- They are VetGDP accredited by the RCVS and recruit two new graduates annually onto their new graduate programme. Their superb nurse and administration team includes dedicated night nurses, who all ensure high professional standards of care and support. In fact, they have just been assessed as “Outstanding” in In-patient Service in a recent RCVS PSS Awards Assessment.
- They have a Forum that meets regularly with representatives from each veterinary department in the Group to give feedback and bring new ideas helping to guide the direction of the practice and improve the working environment and processes. Some of the more recent improvements driven by the forum have been an enhanced maternity pay package, additional childcare support, and top-up support for those meeting jury service requirements.
- There are plenty of opportunities to socialise across all departments, either through smaller events like netball, book club, craft club, or otherwise charitable endeavours- this summer they raised over £6,000 with a bike ride and also took part in the Malmesbury Carnival procession. Their summer BBQ and Christmas party are always great fun and well attended.
Salary: They are offering an excellent salary of up to £70,000 p/a depending on qualifications and experience.
Benefits: As a hospital, they have all the equipment you would expect. You will have access to 5 days and £1750 CPD allowance (FTE) and RCVS and BSAVA memberships paid. With their own Support and Development Manager, there are also opportunities for in-house non-clinical training to support your clinical CPD.
