Permanent Veterinary Surgeon x 2 - Pontefract
We are working with a busy and friendly small animal veterinary practice that is looking for two additional experienced Veterinary Surgeons to join them on a permanent full-time basis.
They have two exciting opportunities within their team, one role would suit an experienced vet who has previously held, or is keen to progress into, a Lead Veterinary Surgeon position. The other would suit someone with an interest in emergency surgery and be capable of sole charge.
The Practice:
Our client works to high standards and prides itself on providing Gold standard care. They are PSS accredited and are also a TP practice. Their clients and pets are at the centre of everything they do and are looking for vets who share the same values. As they are a younger practice, they are always open to ideas of how they can build the practice further within the local community.
You will be joining a friendly, supportive team made up of a Vet, 2 RVN, 2 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager/RVN. The practice is well equipped with state of the art equipment including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray, and ultrasound.
The Role and Candidate
These rewarding positions are full-time and will include Saturdays on a basis but no Sundays or OOH, meaning all of their colleagues can enjoy an excellent work/life balance. Successful applicants should have good general surgical and medical skills and enjoy the variety of cases, whilst continuing to build our growing base of bonded clients.
For the Lead Vet role, you will have extensive surgical experience, be comfortable working autonomously, and will enjoy mentoring less experienced members of the team when needed.
