Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - High Wycombe
We are working with a practice in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, that is looking for a confident small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. The ideal vet to join them should be a confident with all routine medical and surgical cases. An interest in a specialism would be preferred but they are flexible around what specialism.
The Practice:
The Practice is situated with easy access to both the M40 and M25 and benefits from good train links to London and Birmingham. You will have access to all of their excellent facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house lab as well as the support of an established and welcoming team, keen to nurture your skills and help you develop and grow with the business. You will be joining a team made up of 15 including a team of 3 vets, 3 nurses, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, 6 Receptionists, and 2 Practice Managers.
The Role and Candidate:
The ideal vet to join our client should be confident with all routine medical and surgical cases. An interest in a specialism would be preferred but they are flexible around what specialism. An OV would be desirable, but a will to be trained as an OV would be considered too.
You will enjoy building strong relationships with patients and clients and you will be happy to support your fellow team members when necessary in this hands-on role.
The role is full-time, 35-40 hours per week working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and 1 in 3 weekends. Your hours will be spread over 3 x 10 hour days (with an unpaid lunch break). There will be some sole charge responsibility at weekends, so you must be comfortable with this, and no OOH.
