A renowned veterinary group in Bury, Lancashire, is seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated team of professionals. This role is a temporary position, required to provide cover for maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering pre and post-surgery patient care
Performing venepuncture and IV catheter placement
Preparing and processing diagnostic imaging
Dispensing and administering medication
The Hours:
The successful candidate will be working in a state-of-the-art pet A&E hospital, equipped with modern facilities such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy tools, incubators, infusion pumps, and intensive care units.
The working schedule is full-time, with 7 days on and 7 off, with 9-hour shifts from 1 pm to 10 pm.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse with a well-developed skill set. Personal attributes such as excellent communication, compassion, empathy, the ability to inspire, organisation, positivity, reliability, supportiveness, and being a team player are highly valued.

The Package:
The group offers a comprehensive remuneration package based on your expertise and potential, typically including:
Salary of £27,000 per annum (pro rata)
