​Our client is an independent small animal veterinary practice located in Northwich, and they are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. The ideal candidate will have approximately 2 years of experience, but the practice is open to more or less experience for the right fit.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality first-opinion service to patients and clients.

- Share responsibility for inpatients, with a rota of 1:8 nights.

- Work a four-day week plus two days off in lieu of working a weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 8 am – 5 pm).

- Participate in a weekend rota currently set at 1:8.

The practice prides itself on its state-of-the-art facilities, including two theatres, a dental suite with dental radiography, an in-house lab with IDEXX blood and urinalysis machines, and high-quality ultrasound, video endoscope, and laparoscope. The practice's flagship hospital is an independent RCVS-accredited small animal hospital, nurse training practice, and gold cat-friendly clinic, which strives to provide the highest standards of care.

More About The Team:

The team comprises experienced vets with Advanced Practitioners in Anaesthesia, ECC, and Medicine, and a diplomat orthopaedic surgeon. They are fully supported by an experienced front-of-house team and a fantastic nursing team of RVNs and SVNs, led by a dedicated professional. The practice also benefits from visiting Specialist vets in Soft Tissue Surgery, Cardiology, and Diagnostic Imaging.
