An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon with a keen interest in medicine and imaging. The successful candidate will join a dedicated, progressive, and enthusiastic team at an RCVS-accredited hospital, known for its exceptional facilities and commitment to continuous learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
The role involves working with a committed team providing a seamless 24/7 service to valued clients in a friendly and supportive environment.
The hospital sees a wide variety of interesting cases, with facilities that allow for in-house workup of many of these cases, rather than needing to refer externally.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a confident Veterinary Surgeon, ideally a certificate holder or an Advanced Practitioner, who is skilled in scanning and endoscopy.
The candidate should have a passion for supporting colleagues’ development, be a team player with excellent communication skills, and be eager to share knowledge and expertise.
Job Details:
They are open to applications from full-time or part-time candidates
A 4-day week with one 9-hour weekend shift every 5 weeks, and one bank holiday shift a year
Hours: 38.1/week (includes the weekend and bank holiday shifts)
No on-call duties as there is a dedicated night service
Certificate study and clinical development are fully supported
Benefits (Pro-rata):
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum, reflective of skills and experience
Minimum 6.6 weeks' holiday, inclusive of Bank holidays
Sick pay of 2 weeks full pay and 4 weeks half pay
5 days CPD, with a budget of £1750
