An independent mixed practice in Uckfield, East Sussex is looking for a personable and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team on a permanent basis
The Practice:
Our client is a busy popular independent mixed practice in East Sussex. Their wide and interesting caseload includes companion, large and exotic animals. They are looking for a small animal RVN to join their team of 10 vets and 7 RVN’s; you may get the opportunity to do a small amount of large animal work though if this is of particular interest to you. They offer modern surgical facilities, with digital radiography and ultrasonography as well as full OOH facility to their dedicated clients.
The Role:
This position is open to full or part time applicants.
The full-time rota involves 8am-5pm Monday to Friday with 1 night/ week on call.
Weekends are worked on a 1:4 rota basis, the practice operates open surgery consults 8am-midday Saturday, then on call for emergencies the rest of the weekend. The practice offers extra pay and some time off during the week in return for OOH worked.
The Candidate:
You will be a qualified, Registered Veterinary Nurse who is a team player. Any level of post-qualification experience will be considered, ideally 1 year+ qualified.
In return, you will be rewarded an excellent salary £19,000 - £25,000 dependent on skills and experience, with the opportunity for pay, add ons/ overtime for OOH.
