We have an exciting job opportunity for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly busy small animal practice in the Scottish Borders. The practice is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working RVN to become part of their expanding practice.
The Practice:
This practice has been established since 2009 and through their 3 practices, they provide friendly and personal veterinary care to pets across the Borders.
From first vaccinations to a lifetime of preventative care, it’s their aim to help pets live a long, happy healthy life.
They pride themselves on strong core values to provide the highest standard of care with nurses playing a vital role in maintaining these high clinical standards.
The Role:
All nurses are valued and utilized to their full potential at this practice, undertaking a full range of nursing duties such as Anaesthesia monitoring and recovery, inpatient care, blood sampling, cannula placement, nursing clinics, and radiography.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week (4 day week), with a 1 in 5 weekends on call rota.
The Candidate:
You will be joining a team of a head nurse and one other RVN, there will soon have two students joining them on placement so there is plenty of opportunities to develop skills.
