We are recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our clients' fantastic independent practice in the West of West Sussex, on a permanent basis.
The Client
This is a lovely independent practice with all the usual toys, including ultrasound scanner, digital radiography and in house lab. You will be welcomed as part of a young and friendly team of 6 nurses and 2 SVN’s, as well as 5 vets. The lovely head nurse constantly strives to uphold the practice’s excellent standards and highly values input and new ideas from other members of the nursing team.
The Role
This is a full-time role, involving the following:
2 weekdays at Main Veterinary Centre (1x 8am-7pm with 2h lunch break, 1 x 8am-5pm with 1h lunch break)
2 weekdays at Branch Surgery (2 x 8.30am-4.30pm)
Saturdays 1:2 (9am-12.30 nurse clinics; though this can be negotiated to 1:3)
1 night on call/ week, alternating between 1 week- inpatients only, the following week- inpatients and emergencies. The vet has the phone and this duty is usually quiet for the nurse!
The Candidate
You will be qualified and registered with the RCVS. You will be a bubbly, warm and friendly person who is also a fantastic and dedicated RVN. You will have excellent communication skills and be keen to provide high standard nurse clinics.
