We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse to start at a friendly practice in South Hertfordshire on a full-time basis. The practice is looking for a professional registered veterinary nurse to join their team of 2 vets and 3 veterinary care assistants.
The Practice
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services.
You will be joining a lovely team of 2 vets and 3 care assistants. The team are extremely friendly and welcoming and have great relationships with their patients and clients. They are looking for their new colleague to continue to build on the strong local relationships they have formed.
The Role:
The position is full time, 40 hours a week and includes just 1 in 3 weekends. There will be no out of hours which means that you are able to maintain a very healthy work/life balance.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. Our clients’ expect a good level of general nursing and your communication skills will be key to your success as they are looking for someone that will really fit in with the rest of the team. For the right applicant, there is the possibility of progressing into the role of head veterinary nurse.
