We are currently working with a long established independent mixed practice situated in South Devon. Our client is looking to recruit a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
Our client has been serving the local community for over 50 years in this beautiful coastal location of Devon. They currently have 6 vets, 2 nurses,2 ANAs, + 1 Practice Manager working as part of their committed and caring team of professionals. In a friendly, relaxed environment. The team prides themselves on being able to offer first-class quality care to small animals, equine and large farm animals. Their services and facilities include Consultations, General Surgery, In-House Blood Testing, Dentistry, Ultrasound Scanning, Digital X-Rays, Vaccinations, Microchipping, Flea & Worm Treatment, Free Weight Checks & Well Being Clinics.
The Role:
This is a full-time permanent position working alongside 6 vets, 2 nurses and 2 Anas. The working hours are between 08.30 am – 1700 pm or 1800 pm. Weekends 1:3 working from Friday through to Monday on call. Saturday morning 0830 am – 1300 pm. The position involves client contact, answering the phone and monitoring anaesthetics, inpatient care and nursing clinics
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to use their initiative and confident with nursing procedures. They must be personable, outgoing and happy to work as part of a team.
