We are currently recruiting on behalf of a dedicated, mixed animal practice, 75%SA, 20% EX (inc zoo), 5% LA/EQ, based in Dover Kent. Our client is looking for a full time, Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
Our client is a dedicated, six vet general practice based in the heart of Dover, with branch surgeries in the neighbouring towns of Folkestone, Walmer and Whitfield. As well as being a general practice for all animal species, they do also accept referrals of avian, reptile and all exotic species from other veterinary practices across Kent; as well as being able to offer surgical referrals for both orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. This is an RCVS Accredited Tier 2 Practice who run their own 24-hour emergency service and is also a Registered Veterinary Nurse Training Practice
The Role:
This is a permanent full time Registered Veterinary Nurse position and the ideal candidate will be working a 40 hour week on a rota basis between 08:00-19:00.
With the practice offering their own 24 hour emergency service, there is an OOH rota which consists of a 1:5 Week Night on call and a 1:5 weekends on call. The weekend on call consists of working in Practice Saturday morning and then being on call in case the vet requires help. There will be no branch work with this position.
Our client are looking for a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their experienced nursing team of 6 and are happy to consider both experienced and newly qualified nurses.

To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
