An excellent independent small animal practice in North Kent is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Qualified Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team on a permanent basis, starting ASAP.
This would suit a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse, but the practice would also consider an experienced nurse, they are looking for someone that is very competent in their work.
The Practice:
This is a long established first opinion veterinary surgery. They pride themselves on their friendly service and commitment to treating animals. They offer a full and complete care for animals including services, such as Surgery, dental, microchipping services, flea and worm prevention, second opinions etc.
The Role:
This would be a full-time role working 40 hours per week with shifts on a rota basis, which range between 08:00 and 19:00. There are no OOH with this role and the weekend rota is 1:2 Saturdays 09:00 - 13:00 and Sunday's are 1:4 10:00 - 14:00.
The practice is happy to look at all experiences and would potentially consider someone who isn't qualified but has a lot of experiences. This is a small but busy practice where nurses are fully utilised. You will have responsibility within the practice and as such, be given a lot of autonomy to make the role your own, along with the other members of the nursing team.
The salary on offer is likely to start at around £23,000 for someone who is relatively newly qualified and this would rise to around £25,000 for those with more experience. This could be negotiable for the right candidate. Other benefits include an annual CPD allowance of around £500 with 2 days given for this too.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
