We are currently working on behalf of an independent practice in Redhill area of Surrey who are looking for two small animal veterinary surgeons to join their team on a permanent basis.

• Independent practice in Redhill area of Surrey
• 4.5 days per week 1 night on call per week 1:6 weekends
The Practice:
For over 90 years, our client has provided care for pets in Reigate and the surrounding areas of North Surrey. They are independently owned and proud to still be able to provide a traditional and personal service to their clients but using the latest styles of thinking, equipment, level of care and treatments.
Their small animal vet team have wide ranging experience and specialist interests. Orthopaedics, cardiology, anaesthesia, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, behaviour, laser therapy, acupuncture and animal welfare are just some of their areas of expertise.
They are fully equipped to carry out surgical and diagnostic procedures which include laparoscopy, digital x-ray, portable dental x-ray, laser unit, endoscope, ultrasound, laser unit and more.
The Role:
This is a full-time position to work alongside 7 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, 9 nurses in a growing practice with four branches. There is an interesting and varied caseload and there will be some sole charge.
The role is to work 4.5 days per week.
The on call rota includes 1 night per week (1 pm finish the following day) and 1:6 weekends (Saturday am - Monday am (not Friday night) consults Sat morning and then emergencies only. 12 pm finish on Monday and the following Friday off - nice long weekend!
To qualify for this position you must have a minimum of 1 years experience and practice to a high standard of care. You will need to be local, or open to relocating as they do their own OOH. One of the branches currently holds a cat clinic, so a candidate interested in Feline medicine would be ideal, although this is not essential.
In return, our client is offering a competitive salary DOE + 25 days holiday + CPD fully funded incl. certificates if desired + accommodation + RCVS/VDS and 1 other professional membership + OOH bonus paid.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
