We are currently recruiting on behalf of a small animal hospital based in Berkshire. This practice is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Practice:
Our client is a small animal, privately owned veterinary hospital based in Berkshire. From life-saving surgery to a more routine vaccination, our client is able to treat their client's pets quickly and effectively. This practice has a combination of excellent staff and modern equipment which allows them to offer their patients the very best care. Our client has a dedicated team of 8 vets and 13 nurses who are available to provide a full veterinary service. Their veterinary nurses are able to provide inpatient care 24 hours a day, are fully trained anaesthetists, are able to perform minor surgical procedures and use their in-house laboratory.
The Role:
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday on a rota between 08:30-21:00. This is split between different shift times, working either an 8,9 or 10-hour shift. There is a requirement for working 1 nights on call per week and there is a 1:5 weekend rota. The 1:5-weekend rota comprises of working Saturday and Sunday based in practice and then there is also a 1:5 requirement to work a Saturday morning in practice.
There is no branch work with this position and there will be no sole charge requirement as you will always be working as part of a team.
The Candidate:
Our client is ideally looking for a veterinary surgeon who has 2+ years’ experience working in practice. They will be an enthusiastic vet who is looking to further their career in a progressive practice based in Berkshire.
The client is offering a highly competitive salary (Dependent on experience) and are offering a generous CPD allowance of £1500 and 5 days + Holiday allowance
