We are recruiting on behalf of an established small animal, equine and farm animal veterinary clinic based in the South West of Somerset close to the stunning Exmoor national park. They are looking for an enthusiastic 70% Equine 30% Farm Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their excellent and versatile team.
The Practice:
Our client is an established practice amongst the local community of West Somerset. The practice boasts a new purpose built equine clinic with excellent equipment, including 2 small animal operating theatres, Equine operating theatre, Digital X-Ray, Numerous flexible and rigid endoscopes (Fibre optic and video), equine gastroscope, small animal video bronchoscope, Two surgical lasers (CO2 and Diode) Ultrasound, In-house laboratory, Microscopy, Equine worm egg count.
The Role:
This is a full-time position working 8.30 am - 5 pm Monday-Friday, with 1 in 4 weekends. You will be joining a team of 4 equine/large animal vets with an excellent support staff covering 70% Equine and 30% Farm animal. There will be some ambulatory & clinic work required.
The Candidate:
This position would suit a candidate who is enthusiastic and ambitious Vet, confident new graduates will be considered.
In return, the practice is offering a competitive salary between £28,000 - £40,000 + 5 days CPD, VDS, RCVS etc.
