We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and caring small animal Veterinary Surgeon based at a close-knit, friendly, independent practice inside the M25 close to Epsom. This is a supportive co-operative atmosphere practice that is looking for a permanent full-time experienced vet.
The Practice:
This practice is a first opinion village practice, who believe their client’s pets well-being lies at the heart of all their advice. Being a privately owned practice, they feel they get to know their clients and their pets well. The practice manager has been caring for the pets of the area through all stages of their lives for the past 18 years. Their team consists of 2 full-time vets, 1 part-time vet, 2 experienced RVN’s, 1 SVN and excellent support staff, that aim to provide a good value, high-quality service.
The equipment at the practice includes a standard gas anaesthesia, SurgiVet patient monitor, 2 infusion pumps, centrifuge and micro-haematocrit centrifuge, Vet-test biochemistry analyser, Nikon Microscope, Welch Allyn Ophthalmoscopes/otoscopes, Digital Radiography, Doppler blood pressure monitor, ECG, CARIS Ultrasound, Dental equipment etc.
The Role:
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, part-time will be considered. There are no out of hour requirement for this position and the weekend rota is flexible and will be discussed at interview.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be ambitious, enthusiastic and be a good communicator. You must be competent, confident to work cases independently, be able to build excellent client relations and be up to date with your medical knowledge. A minimum of 2 years’ experience is desirable and there is an opportunity for you to complete a certificate.
