We are looking to recruit on behalf of a small animal veterinary practice situated in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The practice is rapidly expanding and looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team.
The Practice:
This practice has excellent facilities and is an RCVS accredited small animal practice which meets approved standards which are maintained by rigorous inspections and they are a nurse training practice. The facilities they have include good surgical and anaesthetic facilities with two op theatres, a laboratory, dental suite, digital x-ray system and ultrasound. There are excellent kennels for holding patients and also nurse clinics, puppy parties and much more.
The Role:
This position is full-time working 4 days a week 8 am - 7 pm. The weekends are 1 in 4 Saturdays working 9 am - 1 pm. There will be a few inpatient checks involved in this role, which is attended by the nurses and they will then call out a vet if there are any issues. There are no other ooh duties involved in this role. You will be joining an expanding team of 2.5 vets, 4 RVNs, and 2 SVNs.
The Candidate:
This role will suit either a new graduate or a vet with a couple years’ experience. You will be ambitious, motivated and have great communication skills.

Salary: New grad - £27,000, 1 - 2 years £33,000 and will then increase DOE + unlimited CPD
To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
